If you’re looking for a truly no-fuss outdoor cooking experience, then a member of the Ooni Koda family of gas-powered ovens should be at the top of your shopping list. They can go from zero to full-blast at the push of a button. Koda gas-powered ovens are easier to clean and set up than their solid-fuel cousins and offer finer temperature control.
The Koda family is getting bigger (and we do mean BIGGER) with the release of the new Koda 2 Max. So, we thought we’d take the chance to help you get to know these amazingly powerful and versatile ovens.
Koda 2 Max
First, we have to talk about the new kid on the block. The Koda 2 Max is the biggest oven we’ve created so far (emphasis on the “so far”). It has a spacious 24-inch cooking area that’s large enough to accommodate multiple pizzas at once.
Size also offers some other advantages too.
The Koda 2 Max sports the all-new Ooni G2 Gas Technology, our most advanced, fuel-efficient gas system yet. The Koda 2 Max’s gas system features two independently controlled temperature zones for side-by-side cooking at a range of temperatures. The gas system’s burners create a tapered flame that generates even, consistent heat across the oven.
The all-new Digital Temperature Hub is another addition to the Koda 2 Max. It provides readings from various spots throughout the oven, so you know exactly when it’s time to cook. The hub also includes two temperature probes for checking roasting meats, and you can even connect to the hub via Bluetooth to monitor temperatures while you prep.
It’s big. It’s powerful. It’s efficient. It’s just the right oven to headline your next garden party.
Koda 16
Speaking of getting the party started, if you love the convenience of cooking with gas, but you’re not ready for the super-sized cooking area of the Koda 2 Max, the Koda 16 is a great choice. It has a large cooking capable of firing out 16” pizzas in just 60 seconds. So you can feed a family (or hungry dinner party guests) quickly. It has an innovative L-shaped burner for easy, one-turn pizza making.
Koda 12
The Koda 12 has all the pros of gas-fueled cooking–it’s fast to light and easy to keep at temperature–in a highly portable size that’s ideal for smaller outdoor areas, or cooking for just one or a couple of guests. If you’re the outdoorsy type, you’ll definitely want to bring this along on your next adventure. Just because you’re in the great outdoors doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a few home comforts–namely, delicious flame-cooked pizza.
