Constanza from our Operations team hails from Mexico City, and has shared her delicious recipe for Chilaquiles!
- Ooni Skillet
- 1 cup of Classic Tomato Salsa
- 1 bag of Tortilla Chips
- 1 cup x Shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup x Feta / fresh cheese
- 1 ripe avocado
- ⅓ cup cubed onion
Fire up your Ooni pizza oven! Place your tortilla chips in your Ooni Skillet. Pour the cup of salsa over the chips, making sure that the chips are fully covered. Next add mozzarella on top, with a 1/3 cup of cubed onion. Your Ooni should be up to 300ºC (572ºF). Place your Skillet in your Ooni until the cheese melts.
Remove the Skillet, and add fresh cheese (Feta), and avocado!
Chilaquiles are awesome, because they are so customisable - top with pulled pork, chicken, or steak! Serve for breakfast with an egg cracked on top, OR switch up the salsa for a green salsa.
