Ooni Impact Fund supports the Australian bushfire crisis

As the devastation caused by Australia’s current bushfire crisis continues to unfold, we’re donating AUD 20,000 to the Australian Red Cross’ disaster relief and recovery initiatives. Presently affecting the Australian states of New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia, the scale of damage and loss as a result of this summer’s bushfire season there is unprecedented in comparison to those of previous years. The Australian Red Cross is actively working at the frontlines of the bushfires to support affected communities, from operating emergency shelters to issuing cash grants for those who have lost their homes.

At Ooni, two of our core values are passion and kindness. We're passionate about great pizza and connecting people through exceptional food experiences, as well as being a company for good – we believe that businesses have a responsibility to have a positive impact on the world. Our Ooni Impact Fund donates 1% of our annual global turnover to social and environmental causes. 

Through our membership with 1% for the Planet, we have an ongoing tree-planting partnership with Eden Reforestation Projects in Madagascar, and have previously supported a range of projects and organisations through the fund including the National Forest Foundation, Social Bite, the American Red Cross’ California wildfire relief appeal, the World Food Programme’s Yemen emergency appeal, and ongoing with on fundraiser events in NYC with Slice Out Hunger.
