Blackberry, Ricotta & Pistachio Pizza

Put your Nutella and bananas away, there’s a new dessert pizza in town! Our Blackberry, Ricotta & Pistachio Pizza is a fresh take on sweet pizza that works just as well for finishing a meal as it does for starting the day as breakfast.

Makes one 12” pizza

165g (5.8oz) pizza dough ball (see note below)

50g (1.3oz) blackberries
2 tablespoons (40g) pistachios, ground
2 tablespoons (40ml)  honey
120g (4.3oz) ricotta

Prepare your pizza dough ahead of time. To make a 12" pizza, we recommend preparing pizza dough balls that are 165g (5.8oz) each – our guide to making the perfect Classic Pizza Dough covers everything you need to know.

Once your dough is ready, fire up your Uuni 3 or Uuni Pro. Aim for 500˚C (932˚F) on the stone baking board inside. You can check the temperature inside your Ooni pizza oven quickly and easily using the Uuni Infrared Thermometer.

In a small bowl, mix the ricotta together with one tablespoon of the honey. Set aside.

Using a small amount of flour, dust your Uuni Pizza Peel or Peel for Uuni Pro. Stretch the pizza dough ball out to to 12" and lay it out on your pizza peel. Spread the ricotta mixture evenly across the pizza base and top with the blackberries.

Slide the pizza off the peel and into your Ooni pizza oven, making sure to rotate the pizza regularly.

Once cooked, remove the pizza from the oven. Top with the pistachios and a drizzle of the remaining honey. Serve straight away!
