Ooni Type “00” Pizza Flour (1.5kg)
Ooni Type “00” Pizza Flour is made with wheat flour varieties from the UK and around the world, specially selected for strength and elasticity. That means our “00” pizza flour can handle longer fermentation, make super-stretchable dough, and create the fluffy aerated crust synonymous with classic Neapolitan-style pizza.
Ooni Type “00” Pizza Flour produces soft, supple dough that’s strong yet easy to hand-stretch.
Ooni Type “00” Pizza Flour is produced to withstand hotter temperatures and is specially formulated for use within Ooni ovens. The workability of Ooni Type “00” Pizza Flour makes it perfect for beginners and experts alike.
Our flour uses only the innermost part of the wheat berry, creating an ultra-fine “00” flour with a W rating of 320*, making it ideal for high-hydration recipes.
As part of our commitment to becoming a regenerative business, Ooni Type “00” pizza flour is produced in British mills using only electricity from renewable sources. We are also working with farms that use at least two recognised regenerative farming practices.
* Professional bakers and Pizzaioli use the W rating to indicate the strength of flour, referring to the toughness and elasticity of the flour’s gluten.
